You know how one year can sometimes just run into the next? That’s basically how we feel about 2017, 2018, and 2019. Like, when it comes to food trends, where did rainbow bagels end and CBD-infused foods begin?
But, once we really honed in on what foodies went for this year, a couple of things became apparent: In 2019, Americans wanted more comfort foods (and less carb-free ones)…but we weren’t opposed to routinely slurping down celery juice in an effort to combat the fried food #bloat. And, as always, people wondered what in the heck J.Lo eats to look that good at age 50—and Google searched it often.
